Five Times Duct Tape Saved Steve Rogers’ Life And One Time It Was Just Embarrassing.

1. Well, there was the shield.

2. Duct tape really does make a good patch for torn uniforms. Even if it somewhat drew attention to the fact that someone had ripped the ass off Steve’s pants.

3. Honestly, if he hadn’t taped Tony’s mouth shut, the aliens would never have gone back to their home planet.

4. It was really funny that time they snuck in while Tony was sleeping and duct taped a Batman symbol on Tony’s arc reactor. This didn’t save Steve’s life in any particular way but it did cheer him up considerably.

5. If he hadn’t taped his shield to Dummy and sent him off as a distraction, the terrorists invading Tony’s lab would definitely have noticed him sneaking around to brain them from behind.

+1: Tony denies it, but Steve is positive that “taping a naked Captain America’s wrists to my headboard” is definitely the worst thing Pepper’s caught him doing.
