I love Tony casually shooting Hyde in the face in that last frame.

Sadly, that is not Iron Man proposing to Cap, though I imagine the response would be the same. Cap’s shield was lost underwater at one point and Tony and Namor secretly went searching for it. When they found it, something had turned it brittle and fragile. What Cap’s staring at there are the shattered remains of his shield.

The best part of this entire story is that Tony duct tapes Cap’s shield back together and Cap has to fly it to Wakanda to destroy it completely because of *handwave*. He ends up having to defend himself with the shield which, remember, has been duct taped together by Tony Stark. A sonic wave hits the shield during the battle, and the sonic vibration knits it back together again.

Never underestimate the power of duct tape.
